Sim interest:GPL Posted Mar 01 2021 - 12:54 PM Just to put peoples' minds at rest: As this track has recently been added to the GPL TotalRank, I've just tried to install it. As I was unpacking the track installer from its RAR file, Windows Defender raised an alert about a possible Windows trojan. I immediately updated my MalwareBytes scanner and scanned the RAR file (which also scans all files inside the RAR), and it found no problems at all. I'm 99.9% certain that the Defender alert is a false alarm, and I have disabled the alert for the track installer. I have just completed installing the track, and everything appeared to run smoothly. I am now going to install the extra files (BAPOM covers and AI) and I will go for a test drive on the track. I'm sure I will enjoy it, but watch out for any edits below in case I have any updates in the next few minutes. Thanks to Jonny'o for the track, and everyone else who helped him to bring it to us. :punk:  -----> EDIT: Just one slightly odd thing I've found. The track installer updates the "season67.ini" file with the entry "flag=britflg" which shows the UK flag in the "best laps" display. It's quite easy to edit this to "flag=brazflg" so that the Brazilian flag is shown. The track is short but good fun. It should suit the smaller cars ('65 F1, '67 F2 etc). Turn one is actually quite challenging, as you go over a crest into a downhill section in the braking area. It's easy to leave your braking too late and/or lock up your wheels, and then go sailing off into the bushes! With the release of all these South American tracks, I'm becoming quite an expert at dodging capybara/capivara/carpincho as they run across the track! :drive1: :fark: :phew: ;) :biglaugh: EDIT 2: Sorry if this seems a bit picky, but I'm always interested in different languages. Should the word "Autodromo" be spelled as "Autódromo" with the accent over the first "o"? Is this the same for Brazilian Portuguese and South American Spanish spellings? (I've just checked on the Wikipedia worldwide list of racing circuits, and it does seem that all South American tracks should be spelled "Autódromo".)
