Sim interest:GPL Posted Jul 29 2011 - 07:25 PM Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, but I seem to be having a problem using the OpenGLv2 rasterizers. Egypt seems to have experienced a sudden fall of snow!  :D The problem doesn't happen if I switch to the Direct3Dv2 rasterizers. EDIT: It seems to be something to do with a texture called "grass01.mip". It seems that this texture size in the DAT file is 700x700. Do I remember something from way back about OpenGL only being able to handle textures which are a power of two (16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 etc.)? I'll carry on experimenting, watch this space..... EDIT2: Bingo! I extracted grass01.mip, converted to a BMP, resized to 512x512, re-converted to MIP and copied the file into my "elcairo" track directory and it seems to work. I have attached my grass01.mip file here so others can copy it into their track directory and try it if they want. I wasn't too fussy when I resized the BMP, so maybe it might be a bit blurry for some, but it's fine for me. I'm glad I can now see Sergio's work as it should be!
