A narrow ribbon of tarmac, it snakes between exposed trees, up clutch-busting gradients, around micro-hairpins and over the notorious Jefferies Jump. Not for the faint of heart! F3 cars raced here in the mid-1950s, and motorcycles from 1946 to present. Famous winners include Duke, Surtees, Hailwood, Agostini, Sheene, Dunlop, Fogarty and McGuinness. The roads also host hill climbing and rallying. This GPL model bypasses the Farm Bends chicane, added in 1991 shortly before start/finish. --- -CREDITS Track editing, textures, objects & research -- Phil Woodward Tool makers: Trk23doZ, GTK Maker, SrbMan by Phil Flack GPLTrk by Peter Prochazka Graced by Anton Norup Sørensen WinMip by Klaus Hörbrand OneTwo3DO by Christian Wohlfahrt RpyToLp, AIEdit by Nigel Pattinson Special thanks: Papyrus! Aerial photos and telemetry suggest a length just under 2.4 miles. * The hairpins were a clipping nightmare; some ugliness remains but is minimal if you proceed in a forward direction without making mischief ;-) * Started: 8th June 2007 * Finished: 8th March 2014 * Contact: philwoodward82@ntlworld.com --- Dedicated to Joe Shaw, 1992-2012. om1.jpg om2.jpg om3.jpg om4.jpg Attached Files Attached File olivermt.zip 24.49MB 1107 downloads
